SPOILER ALERT: This post have specifics of the last episode of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”
The show finale of CW’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” had to address a major matter: Which of Rebecca’s three exes really does she decide for a cheerfully actually ever after?
In a “Bachelor”-style create, last week’s penultimate event confirmed Rebecca (series superstar and co-creator Rachel Bloom) continue wonderful times with each of this lady exes, every one of who will always be madly deeply in love with her. They determine that after the excursions, she must choose a single monogamous lover, once and for all.
Really does that mean she eventually ends up with Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III), the summer-camp love who left her from the altar? Nathaniel (Scott Michael Foster), the rich lawyer who’s altered their manipulative tactics? Or Greg (Skylar Astin, who replaced Santino Fontana in Season 4), the dryly funny and newly sober restaurant owner who always seemed like Rebecca’s most compatible partner?
Really, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” rejects this entire idea: She chooses no guy.
All things considered, the critically-acclaimed series that spent four seasons (and 61 episodes) parodying rom-coms, are candid about endocrine system problems and menstruation, dealing with really serious dilemmas of mental health and focusing on the necessity of female relationship is not going to go and state “the end” after Rebecca chooses a man.
